Clinical Research Manager and Product Liaison
- Work Location: Newark, DE
- Department: Operations & Customer Support
- Reports to: VP, Operations & Customer Support
- Provide clinical support and consultation for physical therapists in the field using the UprightVR products
- Provide research support for Chief Scientist including evaluating evidence-based literature, conduct research studies, devise and monitor field trials, etc.
- Guide the development, evaluation and testing of VR-based clinical balance assessment and rehabilitation product innovations and enhancements
- Provide on-site training of physical therapists and other medical paraprofessionals in the use and application of the UprightVR system, including the interpretation of clinical results
- Develop clinical support collateral materials, including case studies, technical reports and publications
- Provide timely and accurate feedback and clinical support to physical therapists working in the field through phone and email
- Ensure that customer issues are appropriately documented in the Customer Complaint system
- Travel overnight to customer sites as needed for product training. Other customer support activities can be carried out at the corporate office in Newark, DE or at your remote home office
- Qualified and credentialed clinical therapist (PT or AT) with research aptitude or person with a clinically-oriented research degree (e.g. Ph.D. Rehab Sciences)
- A degree in PT with clinical experience including the development of Plans of Treatment or a Ph.D. in kinesiology or rehabilitation sciences or an MS AT or related field
- GCS and NCS credentialing in PT is highly desirable
- Demonstrated research capabilities
- Comfortable working with new technologies
- Current Physical Therapy license preferred
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion
Unity Developer
- UprightVR has identified significant extensions to our baseline products, including additional assessment applications, as well as physical rehabilitation modules that treat identified fall risk deficits. We’re looking for an experienced VR programmer with the following skills:
- Unity 3D engine
- Underlying C# based programming
- VR SDKs including Wave SDK, Oculus Quest SDK, or Pico Neo
- TCP/IP code solutions or JSON
